Polio survivor Eleanor Lewis entertained the Club membership, as only she can, at our November 27 Meeting with her fascinating story, telling us how polio affected her life in the past and how it is still effecting her life today. Courtney thanked Eleanor and presented her with a Certificate representing 10 Polio vaccinations to be administered in her name. President Eric Jones then recognized Eleanor's positive outlook on life and her lively presentation with a special Presentation of a pair of "Happy Socks" on behalf of the Club. He also noted that Eleanor had attended the joint St. Catharines Rotary Club flag raising in recognition of World Polio Day in October and had been the keynote speaker at the Luncheon held at the Golf Club that Day.
