The Rotary Club of St. Catharines Lakeshore recently held its Winter Trivia Night at Merriton Community Centre in St. Catharines. Almost 300 Trivia enthusiasts packed the hall with the Richard Martinelli Team finishing on top.
As winners, the Martinelli Team received top prize money of $300 and the much sought after Lighthouse Trophy. The team included John Holierhoek, Stavros Papavasiliou, Kelly Pyke, Kevin Paxton, Nick Venneri, Bill Albert, Julius Daquioag and Richard Martinelli.
Featuring 100 questions developed by the Club’s own quizmasters over 7 rounds, this annual team event (tables of 8) features free hot dogs, popcorn and a great time for all involved (participants and volunteers alike). Congratulations to Chair Coral and her Committee for another outstanding event!!!
Watch for our Fun Fall Trivia Night coming November 23, 2024 at our NEW location - Club Roma (Gemini Room) in St. Catharines. AND, our 25th Annual Winter Trivia Night will be back on February 8, 2025 at Merritton Community Centre! Details to be announced.
